Visual trans artist and boundary-pushing fashion designer, Eda Phanlert SRIPROM, skillfully manifests social norms by creating innovative self-documented editions that embrace the rich and diverse wealth of individual identities. Through these works, she artistically expresses the principles of Buddhism, particularly focusing on the concept of desexualization by either fashioning the art or articulating the fashion.

Eda resides between Berlin, Basel, and Bangkok.

LATEST WORKS

Eda works between the landscape of Art and Fashion. Her latest work at Basel Social Club during ArtBasel2024, The Staircase to Heaven, was featured in The New York Times. In 2024, Eda exhibited her 1st solo show at the Bodhisattva LGBTQ+ Gallery in Bangkok. During 2022-2024, the Happy Buddha sculptural installation was commissioned and displayed at the Museum de Kulturen in Basel among other galleries and museums such as Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum, SAC Bangkok, and ATT19.
